Obituary of Rita Joyce Wilson

WILSON, Rita Joyce (nee Duncan) passed peacefully Monday, August 8, 2016 at Lebanon Country Manor. Born July 11, 1949 in Portsmouth, Ohio, Rita was the daughter of John and Lorene (Wolfenbarger) Duncan and was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter and friend to all who knew her. Rita had worked for many years as a telephone operator with the General Telephone Company and enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her father and son Scott Duncan, Rita leaves behind her children Larry Wickline of Jackson, Ohio, Brad Wilson, Brian Duncan of Lebanon, Ohio, Lori Williams of Vinton, Ohio and Stefanie Wilson;of Cambridge, Ohio mother Lorene Duncan brothers John Duncan of Florida, Roger Duncan of Beaver, Ohio and Rick Duncan of Virginia; one sister Bonnie Heffelbauer of Indiana; grandchildren Ryan, Kyle, Whitney, Jami, Austin, Gabrielle, Jada, Cody,Kayden and Alex and many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, August 19, 2016 from 12pm until 1pm. A celebration of life service will be held at the funeral home at 1pm with burial to follow in Turtlecreek Cemetery, Lebanon, Ohio. The family appreciates memorial donations that are directed to Stine Kilburn Funeral Home for burial expenses.
