Obituary of James Crawford

CRAWFORD, James F. "Jim" age 70 of Oregonia, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Lebanon Country Manor with his family by his side. Born April 20, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio, Jim was the son of Francis "Frank" and Ethel (Brown) Crawford, a proud US Army/Air Force Veteran and the owner of Crawford Excavating. Jim was a member of Lebanon V.F.W. #6069 and Lebanon Eagles Lodge #1395 and loved motorcycling. Preceded in death by his parents, JIm leaves behind his loving wife of 20 years Shauna (Powell) Crawford of Oregonia, Ohio, sons Kyle Johnson of Lebanon, Ohio, Chad (Marsha) Lane of Morrow, Ohio and Jeremy (Rebecca) Lane of Morrow, Ohio; sister Joan Painter of Lebanon, Ohio and ten grandchildren. Friends may call on the family Wednesday evening, May 9, 2012 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at the funeral Home at 7:00pm with Chaplain Hal Ward officiating. Interment will be in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
