Late condolences to Jim's family & friends .
Jim was my stepdad from the time I was about 6 years old until 14 years old , he was a great guy and taught me a lot . He took us boating , camping , hunting , fishing all the stuff boys love to do ,he loved motorcycles and fast cars too .
Jim built a hand fabricated intake manifold for a V-8 283 cu. in. 55 chevy he had , 8 one barrel carburetors , yes a carburetor for each cylinder . I told my buddies and teacher at Warren County Joint Vocational School about it and they laughed at me - saying no way that's a lie . Jim rounded up a few pictures and off to school they went with me to show the nay-sayers , put a lot of grins on everybodies faces .
I could write a short story about all the good things about Jim Crawford , I sure wish I had stayed in touch with him and his parents Ethel & Frank Crawford they treated my brothers and me with lots of love . Spending Christmas with them , Joan & Dave, Butch , Davy , Sid are some of my most fond memories .
Thank you for being a Dad to me Jim Crawford - I miss you !!

I love you and I miss you more than anything , I'd say this is all a shock to me but it's slowly coming to be a reality. I wonder if they have a deck of cards up there in heaven because im gonna need my Go Fish partner for when we meet again. Im going to miss our late night fishin trips and our early morning Bonanza watchin, not to mention all those times you tried to teach me how to cut the rug and cast the pole.
