Obituary of Pamela Suzanne Salter-Umney

SALTER-UMNEY, Pamela Suzanne age 59 of Oregonia, Ohio passed peacefully Monday, January 4, 2016 at Bethesda North Hospital surrounded by her loving family and friends. Born March 9, 1956 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Pamela was the daughter of Thomas John and June Marie (Woistman) Salter and was a loving wife, daughter, sister and friend to all who knew her. Pamela was a graduate of Finneytown High School and had worked as a hairdresser for many years before finding her passion as a Firefighter/EMT with Turtlecreek Fire and EMS.Pamela enjoyed spending time with her family, her K9 companions, flower gardening, traveling to warm places and helping others through her work with Turtlecreek EMS. Preceded in death by her parents, Pamela leaves behind her loving husband of 30 years Michael Umney of Oregonia, Ohio; brothers John Salter (Sue) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mark Salter (Shelly) of Florida and Matthew Salter (Marie) of Florida and many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, January 8, 2016 from 11am until 1pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1pm with Pastor David Yeiser officiating. burial will follow in the Turtlecreek Cemetery just north of Lebanon, Ohio. The family appreciates memorial donations that are directed to the Turtlecreek Township Fire and EMS, 670 North State Route 123, Lebanon, Ohio 45036. Burdens gone, peace at last and forever loved.
