Mom was very happy that she was able to spend time with Aunt Bert before she passed. She knows that Aunt Bert is at peace and with those that passed before her.

You never forget the neighborhood kids you grew up with. We didn't realize were making memories, we just knew we were having fun. Thinking of your family.

So sorry to hear this. Our deepest condolences to you all. I remember a christmas that Bert and Clyde had bought me and Daymon a gift. Strawberry shortcake doll (for me) and a motorcycle with a string that you pulled and it would go fast (for Daymon), I rushed to get mail from box so I could play, and fell in the yard and broke my arm! The whole family was always so sweet to us and I know they got it all from their parents! What a great family!

So blessed to have my mother spend her last days in my home visiting with her loved ones and friends, smiling conversing and contemplating how she wanted to spend her last moments on this earth. Sitting on the back porch, sharing her life memories, reminiscing about those who have transitioned into the next life are all so precious and appreciated. In her final hours observing her beloved only surviving sibling Ms. Nora lay next to her in bed, holding her hand, stroking her face and speaking to her in her final hours on this earth were so worth the endless hours of watching her decline in breathing and fight to remain in this world. We watched mama decline knowing she was waiting to see someone or something.. Once her sister lay down beside her, she seemed to be at peace, and within hours moved on to the next "room". thanks to all who assisted in making this happen. What a beautiful transition. Thank you God for this incredible experience. Feeling Blessed..
