Obituary of Virginia Herdman

HERDMAN, Virginia (nee Moore) age 87 of Morrow, Ohio and formerly of Adams County, Ohio passed peacefully Thursday, September 8, 2011 at Hospice of Cincinnati, Blue Ash surrounded by her family. Born December 9, 1923 in Adams County, Ohio, Virginia was the daughter of John and Arlie (Freeman) Moore and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and a dear friend to all who knew her. Mrs. Herdman was a retired school teacher from Little Miami High School with a 38 year career in education. Virginia leaves behind her dear husband of 66 years Paul Herdman of Morrow, Ohio; daughters Kathy (Michael) Brady of Flat Rock, North Carolina, Robyn (Les) Suna of Loveland, Ohio and Jillora (Doug) Summers of Lebanon, Ohio; sister Mary Catherine (Starley) Gustin of West Union, Ohio and grandchildren Megan (Jeff) Lavin, Paige (Dean) Lurie, Paul (Robyn) Revelson, Michael and Elise Suna, Joseph, Alexandra and Anne Marie Cesta. Private family services will be held at the convenience of the family. A memorial fund has been established in Mrs. Herdman's Memory to benefit the Little Miami Schools.
