Mrs. Herdman was my favorite teacher. I remember telling her
that on a test I did that she didn't catch a wrong answer.
She said that if I was that honest she was going to count
it as correct. She was a great teacher. A friend who I
called today to tell about Mrs. Herdman's passing
also had her the year before I did. We had her for
Business & Office Education. And she (Linda Redding)
said the same thing - that she was sorry and that she
was a great teacher. We are so sorry for your loss.

Mrs. Herdman was my teacher in 1974. She was the best teacher I ever had, she truly cared about her students. I kept in touch with her over the years through Christmas cards and I would see her occasionally in Morrow. She wrote me a very touching letter when my dad died. Mrs. Herdman is one of those people you meet in your life that you never forget and I feel very fortunate that I had the pleasure of knowing her. Robyn and her sisters were very lucky to have had such a wonderful mom. She will be sadly missed. Debbie Fultz Jewett

My Heart and Prayers go out to the loving family that Miss Virginia has left behind. She was a wonderful friend to me during my high school years and her many acts of kindness will never be forgotten. She set a high standard for her students and she led by example. She will be missed and fondly remembered.
