Obituary of Gregory Welch

WELCH, Gregory Tim age 53 of Sardinia, Ohio and formerly of South Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Friday, August 5, 2011 at Hospice of Cincinnati East with his family by his side. Born October 12, 1957 in Middletown, Ohio, Gregory was the son of Bennie Sandlin and a 1975 graduate of Kings High School. Gregory was retired from Ford Motor Company and a member of the United Auto Workers and attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church in South Lebanon, Ohio and Butlerville Church of God. Preceded in death by his grandparents Elwin and Bonnie Welch and sister Beverly Sandlin, Gregory leaves behind his loving wife of 32 years Nadine (Wilson) Welch of Sardinia, Ohio; daughter Alisha Welch of Cincinnati, Ohio; brothers Christopher Sandlin of Lebanon, Ohio and Scott (Wendy) Duff of South Lebanon, Ohio; sister Alleen Baker of South Lebanon, Ohio and many other family members and friends. Friends may call on the family Wednesday evening, August 10, 2011 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in South Lebanon, Ohio Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 1:00pm with Reverend Arthur McFarland and Pastor Robert Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
