I am so very sorry to hear of Mr. Schroeder's passing. He and my grandfather, Bob Wedig, were very close friends. I lived with my grandparents while I was in college and was very lucky to get to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Schroeder quite often. In fact, one time I went out to their house in Maineville with my grandparents. Was the very first time I ever visited Maineville and it seemed to take forever to get there. I kept asking Grandma and Grandpa where were we going? But, when we finally got there, it was so wonderful to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Schroeder and enjoy a really nice dinner. Whenever my Grandpa was in the hospital, Mr. Schroeder would come visit him and I'd run into him visiting my Grandpa and we'd all sit and chat and visit for awhile. It was always fun to visit with Mr. Schroeder! He and my Grandpa were very good friends and as a college student, it gave me great pleasure to see my elderly grandfather enjoy such a wonderful friendship with one of his peer group. I'm very sorry to hear of Mr. Schroeder's passing ... he was one of those very special people you are so fortunate to meet in life. I will always remember Mr and Mrs Schroeder with great fondness and affection. My very best regards to you always, Daphne Wedig
