Obituary of Nona Moore

MOORE, Nona M. (nee Singleton) age 91 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday evening, January 29, 2011 at Cedarview Health Care. Born February 10, 1919 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Nona was the daughter of Finley and Effa (Long) Singleton and a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Nona enjoyed crocheting, puzzles and spending time with her family. Nona was a member of the Kings Point Church of God, visiting nursing homes for the ladies ministries and had taught Sunday School since the age of thirteen. Many of us locally will remember Nona from her 21 years of service as cashier at our local Kroger Store. Preceded in death by her parents and husband of 53 years Harris Moore; Nona leaves behind her son Rick (Kathy) Moore of Lebanon, Ohio and beloved Carol Moore of Mason, Ohio; grandchildren Erin (Jeff) Todd and Shauna (John) Roe; great-grandchildren Allen-Michael, Vanessa, Victoria and Chelsea Todd and Keria, Amanda, Madison and Johnnie Roe. Friend may call on the family Tuesday evening, February 1, 2011 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the Kings Point Church of God, Maineville, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at 11:00am at the church with Pastor Randy Ballard officiating. Burial will follow in the Rest Haven Memorial Park, Blue Ash, Ohio.
