As a minister I hope that your family will find comfort in what our Lord Jesus taught about death. At Luke 8:51-54 he compared the death of a little child to her being sleep. Yes, to Jesus is only sleep. A sleep that he can awaken us from. Your loved one is now sleeping but soon, just as Jesus woke this little child from her sleep, he will awaken your loved one during the great resurrection revealed at John 5:28,29.
