Obituary of Nathan Taulbee

TAULBEE, Nathan Jr. age 83 of Morrow, Ohio - Union Township passed peacefully Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Bethesda Arrowsprings with his family by his side. Born April 9, 1927 in Wolfe County, Kentucky, Nathan was the son of Nathan and Montie (Taulbee) Taulbee and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Nathan retired from General Motors Fisher Body in Hamilton, Ohio with thirty years of service and was the owner/operator of Taulbee Water Service for many years. Nathan was a former Trustee of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in South Lebanon and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. Preceded in death by his parents, loving wife Lida (Byrd) Taulbee, step-mother Arbutus Taulbee, brothers Bernard, Finley and Jimmy Taulbee and grand daughter Tammy Lynn Taulbee, Nathan leaves behind his sons Roger Taulbee of Morrow, Ohio and Nathan `Bo` Taulbee of Mason, Ohio; daughters Donna (Tony) Fite of South Lebanon, Ohio, Sharon (Larry) Allen, Vickie (Ronnie) Combs and Lisa (Roy) James all of Morrow, Ohio; sisters Naomi (Jesse) Dye of Kings Mills, Ohio and Mattie Jean (Prater) Haddix of Loveland, Ohio; fourteen grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren and his special K-9 companion `Duke`. Friends may call on the family Sunday evening at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in South Lebanon, Ohio February 20, 2011 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held at the church at Monday, February 21, 2011 at 11:00am with Reverend Arthur McFarland officiating. Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
