Obituary of Ian Hogan

HOGAN, Ian Tyler age 25 of Carlisle, Ohio passed peacefully Monday, February 2, 2015 at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana with his family by his side. Born March 29, 1989 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Ian was the son of Jonathan Craig Hogan and Tonjia (Burroughs) Hogan and was a loving son, brother, grandson and friend to all who knew him. Ian was a 2007 graduate of Springboro High School, a 2011 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and enjoyed watching and playing baseball. Ian was employed as a co-manager for 84 Lumber Company. Preceded in death by his grandfather John Hogan, Ian leaves behind his loving parents Craig Hogan, Tonjia Hogan; step-mother Ruthann Hogan; brother Daniel (fiance' Ashley Strausbaugh) Hogan of Columbus, Ohio; grandparents Vern (Martha) Burroughs of Hillsboro, Ohio; Ruby (Mont) Cavins of Blanchester, Ohio and many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon February 8, 2015 from 4pm until 6pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 9, 2015 at the funeral home at 10am with Rev. Dr. Dan Lamb officiating. Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio. Donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
