Obituary of Myrtle Lamb
LAMB, Myrtle (nee Turner) age 96 of South Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born March 22, 1918 in Madison, Kentucky, Myrtle was the daughter of Elmer and Bessie (Lamb) Turner and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Myrtle was a faithful member of the Anchor of Hope Church. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Willard Lamb, sons Ermon, Russell and Clyde, brother Chester Turner, daughter Carol Lamb and son-in-laws Ray Driscoll, Ronnie Davis and Philip Cochran; Myrtle leaves behind her loving children Glendon (Edith) Lamb of Waynesville, Ohio,; Bill (Norma) Lamb of Lebanon, Ohio, Earl (Judy) Lamb of Morrow, Ohio, Marvin (Kathy) Lamb of Wilmington, Ohio, Beulah Driscoll of Franklin, Ohio, Lena (Lennith) Hymer of Waynesville, Ohio, Lina (Harold) Cochran of Lebanon, Ohio, Betty Cochran of Wilmington, Ohio, Thelma (Denvil) Peyton of Morrow, Ohio and Sharon Elam of Alabama; sisters Dolly Stewart of Berea, Kentucky and Ruthie Abney of Red Lick, Kentucky;daughter-in-laws Ida Lamb and Linda Lamb 41 grandchildren and a host of great and great-great grandchildren.
Friends may call on the family Sunday evening, July 13, 2014 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at the Anchor of Hope Church, Settlemire Road, Lebanon, Ohio.Funeral services will be held at the church Monday, July 14, 2014 at 10:00am with Pastor Bill Lamb officiating. Burial will follow in the Miami Cemetery, Corwin, Ohio.
