She was a sweet lady Her and my grandma where good friends. My Grandma Stella Hobbs they use to set together in church, My grandma was older than her at Mothers Day she was to pick the Mothers Day flower first being the oldest mother so she would always pick the least prettiest flower so Myrtle would have the pretty Flower she Loved Myrlte that much she wanted her to have the prettiest flower.

I first met this wonderful woman when I was just a young child with my sister-in-law Thelma. This woman was soft spoken and ever so kind. I was instructed to call her Mama Lamb, just as others were probably given the same instructions.She treated everyone as if they were her own family and was the kindest woman I have ever known.I was shy around strangers and I sat at her table and would not eat with my eyes shut, believing that if I couldn't see them, they couldn't see me.She never commented on my actions, just kept making sausage and talking to me. I was so amazed at how she didn't let my actions change hers. In my life, I have never met another couple like Mama and Papa Lamb, and I probably never will. They don't make them like that anymore.I am so sorry for the families loss. No words nor expressions can be made to ease the pain of losing your parent, all I can say is I am so sorry that this Earth lost the best woman I know. Your family has been blessed to have had her for 96 years but God now has a new angel that will forever be missed here.

We were so richly blessed to have had such a loving Godly Grandmother and Great Grandmother in our lives. Her legacy of hospitality, love and graciousness will live on for generations to come. Although it is our loss to have her gone physically from our lives we will meet again on the other side of Jordan. Rest in peace Grandmother Lamb!
