We will miss you Vernon but you have given us a lot of memories to hold on to. We have been friends for a lot of years and we will treasure our times together. We first got acquainted with you and Daisy in 1980 and developed a lasting friendship. We spent a lot of time together and became very close. We traveled together, spent time at your house, and you spent time at ours. We were so close and when Daisy died it seemed like we lost a part of our family. Daisy was a wonderful cook and made the best fried chicken! When we went to your house we just felt completely comfortable and that was because you both made us feel like we belonged there. Few people come into our lives that can make the kind of impact that you both have in ours. But not just ours, you were the same with everyone. You just made us feel at home. I know it was so hard on you Vernon without Daisy and now with your passing we have lost someone else dear to us. You loved to aggravate people but it was all done in fun, it was just your way and we loved you for it. We learned a lot from you and we will hold tight to our memories of our times with you and Daisy. Dying is all a part of life and will come to us all, but it still hurts. We miss you!!
