Obituary of Barbara Frauenknecht

FRAUENKNECHT, Barbara Alice (nee Fordyce) age 77 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Friday evening, June 20, 2014 at the Otterbein Retirement Community with her family by her side. Born June 20, 1937 in Lebanon, Ohio, Barbara was the daughter of William and Patricia (Maloney) Fordyce and was a lifelong resident of Lebanon, Ohio. Barbara was a 1955 graduate of Lebanon High School, a meber of Urbancrest Baptist Church and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Many will remember Barbara from her working years at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, The Golden Lamb inn and Corson Buick. Preceded in death by her parents and brother Bill Fordyce, Barbara leaves behind her loving husband of 58 years Russel Frauenknecht of Lebanon, Ohio; sons Mark (Deb) Frauenknecht of Lebanon, Ohio and Jeff Frauenknecht of Pleasant Ridge, Ohio; sister Sandy (Ron) Jones of Lebanon, Ohio; grandchildren Benjamin, Gillian and Haley and great-grandchildren Jack and Emily Bauer. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 24, 2014 from 11:00am until 12:00pm at the Urbancrest Baptist Church located on Drake Road just north of Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm at the church with Reverend Tom Pendergrass officiating. Burial will follow in the Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville, Ohio.
