We were all saddened to hear of the loss of dear Cliff; yet, we are blessed to have known him, Marge and the rest of the clan. We were welcomed, nurtured, fed good food (Joni continues to makes "Margie's deviled eggs"). The laughter, love and determination to stand strong in the face of adversity will be remembered as well as the many dances. So thankful I was one to be led around the dance floor! Love and prayers to all of you. You will continue to tell his story and you will see him again: whole, healthy, laughing, serving. God's richest blessings to all of you from all of us.

The Final Goodbye
Through many tears and many sad faces my hero has passed; Taking pieces of hearts, memories of laughter, years of smiles and limitless love with him. Over the years this hero has given himself too many people, for many reasons. The love that was shown and taught, the laughter that was always new and fresh is now gone. The pain is more than most can bear, the lessons we learned in early ages taught us that leaning on people in times of chaos can soothe the soul.
My grandfather has instilled in his family that working as a unit can make the ties stronger. Over the course of 3 months, he got to see this first hand. His family surrounded him with love, laughter, strength, but above all unity. Showing him that his lessons were never forgotten, even as they got older; the same lessons were instilled in their children. The Values that were taught are as deep as can be, strength that can be rivaled by even titan gods themselves shown in this family.
The family ties grow stronger in this time of need. As each remember their memories of laughter. I have come to share one of mine. One of the most vivid memories is the house on mulberry. The entryway was this big room that was nothing but hardwood floor, I was kid always chasing the cat, but I can remember my mom and her brothers and sisters gathering together and playing Pictionary. One big family gathered around this really big drawing tablet and played Pictionary. Course, I also remember the splinter I got from the floor. In the end the memories are what will keep him alive in our hearts and in the eyes of those that knew him best.
With this final closure I send my memories to each of you not to feel sad because I know in my heart he would not want sad faces. I believe he would love for each of us to smile and laugh at the memories shared. Know that his life was grand, that each of us held a special place in the heart of the greatest man to have lived.

People have, overtime had several "friends and relatives". I fell I have been luck enough to have one rolled up in a special package known as "Cliff Morningstar". I met and married his second oldest daughter and was welcomed into the folds of his family with undying friendship and love. Both Marge and he proved to be the the best "in-laws" any one could have. I recognized that he taught me self reliance, as he did his own children. I learned from him, that determination was a natural part of living. He proved that as time went by. I told him that I was lucky enough to have two fathers, my own who instill in me a strong work ethic and Cliff who taught me how to hone it as he did for his family. I will never forget you "Mr. Morningstar". May "The Great Architect" keep you at his right hand forever. Rest well my brother.

Words can not describe the loss that is felt at this time. My role model my father my hero. I am proud of the life you have lived and all the gifts of strength, wisdom and love you have instilled in all of us. You have touched many without even knowing, you accepted the fate handed to you, however unfair, with dignity and grace. The void you leave will be forever but the love you shared will live on and on. I love you Dad.
