Obituary of Barbara Doughman

DOUGHMAN, Barbara Edith (nee Kilburn) age 84 of Wilmington, Ohio passed peacefully Sunday evening, February 16, 2014 at her residence with her family by her side. Born May 14, 1929 in Lebanon, Ohio, Barbara was the daughter of Floyd and Mary Ruth (Bailey) Kilburn and a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Barbara had worked for the former Lebanon Shoe Factory and played the piano for her church (Pleasant Grove Church of God) for over 50 years. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Norman Mosey Doughman, infant sister Charlene Ann Kilburn and brother Robert Kilburn, Barbara leaves behind her loving children Terry (Linda) Doughman of Blanchester, Ohio, Jerry Doughman of Maineville, Ohio, Lindy (Dennis) Powell of Mason, Ohio and Cindy (Ernest) McCandless of Wilmington, Ohio; sisters Jean(Tom) Coogan, Bonnie Blanton, Betty Short and Sandy (Kyle) Spears; grandchildren Scott and Brandon Doughman,Jeremy Doughman, Nathan and Dwaine Powell and Shane and Jeff McCandless; seven great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends. Receiving of friends will be held Friday, February 21, 2014 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home with Pastor Calvin Martin and Pastor Darren Parker officiating. Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
