Obituary of Michael O'Rourke

O'ROURKE, Michael Francis age 69 of Lebanon, Ohio and formerly of Western Hills in Cincinnati, Ohio passed peacefully at his home Saturday, August 3, 2013 with his family by his side. Born November 27, 1943 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Michael was the son of John and Marion (Nieman) O'Rourke and a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Michael was a graduate of Subiaco Academy in Subiaco, Arkansas and attended the Ohio College of Applied Science. He was a retired tool & die maker from the Greg Wright & Sons Company in Cincinnati, Ohio with 38 years of service. Michael was a member of the St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church and a former member of Our Lady of Lourds Catholic Church in Cincinnati. Michael was a member of Queen City Umpires, Sports Car Club of America, Gold Wing Road Riders and the Warren County Farm Bureau. Preceded in death by his parents and son Shawn O'Rourke; Michael leaves behind his loving wife of 45 years Judith (Stockert) O'Rourke of Lebanon, Ohio; daughters Mary Louise Villarreal and Ann Marie Rogers; brother Matt T. O'Rourke; grandchildren Lindsay, Kristen, Nathan, Kaitlyn, Luke and Jack; great grandchild Kendall and dear friend Linda Carol Smith. Calling hours will be held Friday, August 9, 2013 from 9:00am until 12:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30pm at the St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church. A private family burial will be held in the Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnati, Ohio.
