A great memory of Mike was when we were teenagers. Our family was visiting at the Banning Road place. Matt, Mike and I were given money by Uncle John and Aunt Marion to go into town and see a movie. I still remember that the movie was "Those Magnificent Men and their Flying Machines". Mike was the only one old enough to drive and got specific instructions by the folks to drive slowly and carefully. As we got out of sight, Mike took us for a ride at warp speed. We sort of shot out of there like a cannon. It was a great ride and far surpassed the movie for adventure.

So many things I love about Michael... Mostly from stories that Shawn would tell. But, I also loved the way he would so effortlessly include my boys taking them on rides to see the property or making jokes with them! I loved his humor and the way he would always poke fun at my high heels out on the farm. :) Memories are cherished.
