Obituary of Edith Stanley

STANLEY, Edith (nee Woliver) age 82 of South Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Thursday afternoon, November 8, 2012 at her residence with her family by her side. Born January 3, 1930 in Pennington Gap, Virginia, Edith was the daughter of Burb and Elva (Hobbs) Woliver and a retired cashier from the Parkview Market. Edith was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and a member of the First Baptist Church of South Lebanon. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Eugene Stanley in 1989 and son Robert Stanley; Edith leaves behind her son Larry (Vickey) Stanley of New Lebanon, Ohio; daughter Sharon (Keith) Hurst of South Lebanon, Ohio; daughter-in-law Dawn Miller of Lebanon, Ohio; brother-in-laws Roy Stanley of Virginia,Ralph (Barb) Stanley of Dayton, Ohio and Roy Warner of Dayton, Ohio; grandchildren Scott Hurst, Paul Hurst, Katrina Kirby, Brian Stanley, Jerry Stanley and Tiffany Worthington and a host of great-grandchildren. Friends may call on the family Wednesday, November 14, 2012 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00pm with Pastor Mike Howell officiating. Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
