Edith Stanley - we love you. For all the years of our childhood, Edith was the energetic heart of the action, at Parkview Grocery in the heart of South Lebanon. Edith was a joy. Edith always knew - thanks to her work at Parkview on the checkout line cash register - and her work on the village council, and thanks to the vibrant personality. Call it country charisma - Edith always new the latest news. Smart. Witty. Loving. By sterling example, Edith Stanley showed generations of us how to be happy, disciplined, responsible citizens, by serving our community, and of course each other. Edith never missed a vote. And God bless her, even listened with patience as I encouraged her to vote Green Party. Edith Stanley, what a fine person, the best. Edith Stanley, loving mother, adoring grandmother, proud great-grandmother. Edith was fun! We hold you in our hearts Edith. Now. Always. My flights of angels carry you to your rest.
