My great grand father was Albert French of Lebanon, OH. He was my father's, Dudley French Miller, grand father. Walter's grand father was my father's favorite uncle, Arthur French, who my father always remembered with great affection. My father was also raised in Lebanon with his cousin the designer Russell Wright. Their childhood revolved around the family homestead known today as The Pillars. That makes Walter my second cousin but unfortunately I never met him all though I've stayed in touch with various first cousins on my father's side over the years. I happened upon this obituary while I was looking up my great grandfather Albert French online. Since Walter also had the last name Miller, there's probably a connection there as well but I'm not exactly sure. That would take further research. I thought Walter's family would like to know all this. I was born in 1944 in California where my father eventually settled.
