My deepest condolences go out to Ms. Mellendorf’s family and friends. By far one of the strongest, most courageous woman I have ever met. My oldest daughter had her for kindergarten last year and regardless of her own battle with cancer she still made the biggest effort to come to class and show so much love to the young children and teach them and give them a great first year. My oldest daughter had Mrs Mellendorf in Kindergarten and it was a hard transition for me and my daughter. But from day one, there was Mrs Mellendorf to comfort us both. She was an amazing person that left footprints on our hearts. She made a difference and not many can say that! We will always remember her and we will miss her.
