Obituary of Kenneth Goodin

GOODIN, Kenneth A. age 76 of South Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday evening, July 28, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. Born December 8, 1935 in Williamsburg, Kentucky, Kenneth was the son of Fred and Hallie (Brooks) Goodin and retired from the International Paper Company in Mason, Ohio. Kenneth was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather and a friend to all who knew him. Kenneth was a member of the Pentecostal Temple of South Lebanon, Ohio and enjoyed playing the guitar and singing and spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Hiram and James Oscar Goodin and sisters Goldie Mae Meadors and Florence Louise Sandlin, Kenneth leaves behind his loving wife of 53 years Arvillia (Baker) Goodin; daughters Glenna G. (Chris) Cupp and Gwendolyn G. (Elmer JR) Sargent; granddaughter Brooke Nicole Sargent and many other family members and friends. Friends may call on the family Wednesday evening, August 1, 2012 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the Pentecostal Temple of South Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at the church Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 11:00am with Pastor JR Sargent officiating. Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
