I want to thank you for all the laughter you gave me. You had a way of making me laugh even when I was in a bad mood. Thanks for your patience and love, you sure put up with a lot of my mischievous ways when I was growing up. You were the best dad, papaw, father-in-law and husband. I'll never forget your guitar playing and your wonderful singing voice. I hope that Jesus has a "golden guitar" just with your name on it. You're probably in Heaven right now playing "The Glory Land March" or maybe going around shaking everybody's hand. I know you would never let anyone pass you without shaking their hand. You never met a stranger. You always smiled no matter what you faced. You told me a long time ago "Life is what you make it". You have proved that to me, dad, by the life you have lived. I'll dearly miss you, but I wouldn't bring you back if I could because I know that you can talk, run, and play your guitar now and you're not hurting anymore. I know mom will miss taking care of you, but Praise the Lord, He's taking care of you now!

We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Kenny. He was genuine, kind hearted, and had a great sense of humor. The memories we have of Kenny playing his guitar in church will be treasured forever in our hearts.
The thought of knowing that Kenny is in the presence of the Saviour can be some comfort especially when we have the confidence that our Saviour resides in us. The hope of salvation is most important in our lives when death touches us.
Death is only the beginning of a more perfect and beautiful everlasting life.
