Dear Susie and Kathy. I send my condolence on the passing of you mother.She always kept me up to date on your activities until a few years ago when our paths no longer met. She was a wonderful woman and her quiet presence was an asset to this world. I was fond of her as was Gene.

Carolyn was one of the kindest, caring, softly spoken people in our school district. She was the only nurse for the whole district while I was in school and many of the years when I taught. If she had a penny for every band-aid she distributed, head she checked for lice, examinations for broken bones, assessments for scoliosis,eye exams, weight checks, or necessary written reports for every accident, she would have been one of the richest ladies on earth. Instead, the students and staff of Lebanon schools were much richer for having the care and warm smile of this awesome lady. She will truly be missed by many, many people in Lebanon.

My sympathy to Carolyn's family. I met Carolyn when I first moved to Lebanon to teach at LHS. For several years we had lunch together and I got to know her caring and kindness. Recently I would see her at productions of The Lebanon Theatre Company. During these recent times, my vision has been such that I wasn't able to recognize people. Carolyn always made sure she spoke to me and we had visits to catch up. Her daughters must be as proud of her as she was of them. She will be missed by many. Tonda Edington

My mother, Peggy Rufner, always considered Kate (as our family called her) as her best friend. I feel like she was part of our family and was so glad to be able to spend many special times with her, especially after the passing of both of my parents. I will miss her wonderful laugh and her kind heart. May your memories of her bring a smile to you as your heart mourns her loss.

I fondly remember Mrs. Lambert from my high school days in Lebanon. She was so calm and considerate. Many years later she and my mom became friends. She will always be remembered.
