Obituary of Marguerite Y. Showers

SHOWERS, Marguerite Y. (nee Froelich) age 90 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the Otterbein Retirement Community just outside of Lebanon, Ohio. Born August 19, 1926 in Massillon, Ohio; Marguerite was the daughter of Raymond and Marjorie (nee Gross) Froelich and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Marguerite was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Canton, Ohio and became a Registered Nurse while in the U.S. Army Cadet Nurse Corps during World War II. During her spare time, Marguerite enjoyed reading and needlework. Preceded death by her parents and brother Donald; Marguerite leaves behind her loving children H. Robert (Evelyn) Showers of Ashburn, Virginia and Starla (Dick) Tohline of Lebanon, Ohio; sisters Pauline Pyle of Sherman, Texas and Judy Morris of Streetsboro, Ohio; grandchildren Max, Abby, Robyn, Jessica and Bethany and many other family members and friends. At the request of the family, services are private.
