Obituary of Gillon Jackson

JACKSON, Gillon age 90 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at his residence. Born April 21, 1926 in Madison County, Kentucky, Gillon was the son of Karlos and Tressie Jackson and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Gillon was retired from General Motors and served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during WWII. Gillon was a member of the Lighthouse Harbor Pentecostal Church and a member of the Lebanon V.F. W. Post 6069. Preceded in death by his parents, loving wife Pauline,brothers Jay, Dennis, Charles and Arnold Jackson and sister Bessie Mobley; Gillon leaves behind his loving daughters Betty Jean (Donald) Witt and Brenda Sue (Roscoe) Brown all of Lebanon, Ohio; brothers Thirlon (Alma) Jackson and Karlos Jackson, Jr. all of Hamilton, Ohio; sister Evelyn Tuttle of Hamilton, Ohio; five grandchildren Connie (Emery) Bates, Allen (Tonja) Witt, Stephen Witt, Roger (Marie) Brown, Rodney Brown and seven great-grandchildren Kayla Sajnog, Jessica Stacey, Sean, Devin, Nicole and C.J. Witt and Jazmin Brown and many other family members and friends.. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 11am until 1pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1pm with Pastor Larry Isaacs officiating. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, Ohio.
