Obituary of Deborah Sue Folck

FOLCK, Deborah Sue (nee Barber) age 66 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Thursday evening, February 16, 2017 at Miami Valley Hospital with her family by her side. Born July 3, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio; Deborah was the daughter of Robert Elsworth and Irene (Sweeney) Barber and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Deborah was a graduate of Vandalia-Butler High School and a graduate of Wright State University where she also earned her Master's Degree. Deborah was a retired teacher and continued helping others after her retirement by volunteering her time working with the deaf. Many will remember Deborah as a kind and generous lady who was always helping others. Deborah was a member of the Red Lion Methodist Church. Deborah was a creative person who enjoyed singing, playing the guitar, attending church, her kitties she cared for and spending time with her grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents and brothers Robert and Richard ; Deborah leaves behind her loving husband of 44 years Douglas Folck of Lebanon, Ohio; sons Chad Douglas (Marti) Folck of Kettering, Ohio and Thomas Christian (Quest Marie) Folck of Columbus, Ohio and grandchildren Austin, Alyssa (Jarred Shaw),Ashton, Laken, Raina and Weston. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, February 21, 2017 from 5pm until 7pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 7pm with Reverend Sandy Voegel officiating. Burial will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 12pm at the Miami Memorial Park located at 7733 North Crescent Drive, Covington, Ohio 45318.
