Obituary of Sara Jane Ball

BALL, Sara Jane (nee Potts) age 38 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Wednesday afternoon February 15, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born April 10, 1978 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Sara was the daughter of Randy Potts and Pam Kilby and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Many will remember Sara from her years employment with Child Watch at the Countryside YMCA. Sara enjoyed camping, motorcycles, gardening and being around people - especially children. Preceded in death by her father; Sara is survived by her loving husband Tom Ball of Lebanon, Ohio; son Jackson Ball of Lebanon, Ohio; daughters Maddy and Emma Ruby both of Lebanon, Ohio step-son Jake Ball of Lebanon, Ohio; step daughters Ashley Ball of Columbus, Ohio and Marlo (Travis) DeVoto of Springboro, Ohio; her mother Pam (Pat) Ryan of Maryville, Tennessee; step-mother Gayla Potts of Cincinnati, Ohio; brother Patrick (Hillary) Ryan of Holly Springs, North Carolina; sister Melissa Barrar of Aston, Pennsylvania; step-sisters Niecia Ryan of Louisville, Kentucky, Amanda Ryan of Cincinnati, Ohio and Alex (Andrew) Howard of Maryville, Tennessee; 2 step grandchildren and many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 21, 2017 from 11am until 1pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1pm with Reverend Fred Cook officiating. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, Ohio.
