Obituary of Brian Lee Cook

COOK, Brian Lee age 58 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Monday, January 30, 2017 while in care of Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. Brian suffered from acute liver and renal failure. Born October 19, 1958 in Dayton, Ohio, Brian was the son of Allan and Lucy (Conn) Cook and was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother and friend to many. He was a lifelong resident of Lebanon, Ohio, served as a longtime member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #1395 where he was Past Worthy President. Brian enjoyed spending his free time on the golf course, kayaking in the Little Miami River and riding his motorcycle. Brian was proud to volunteer his time organizing community events and being a Volunteer Firefighter for the City of Lebanon. He enjoyed time in theater and played the role of Carlyle in the 1978 Movie: Harper Valley P.T.A.. He was passionate for cars and was the Manager of Merrill's Body Shop in Lebanon, Ohio for many years. Brian is survived by his daughters-Jessica (Matt) Martin of Indianapolis, Indiana and Cassidy Cook of Clarksville, Ohio; grandson-Miles Martin; parents-Allan and Lucy Cook; brothers-Steve (Lori) Cook and Mark Cook all of Lebanon, Ohio; nephew-Adam Cook and niece-Amy Cook. Brian is preceded in death by his late wife Jenny (James) Cook and beloved dog Max. The family will welcome friends Friday, February 3, 2017 from 5pm to 6:30pm at the Stine-Kilburn Funeral Home. Service by the Fraternal Order of Eagles to follow.
