Obituary of Vera Brown

BROWN, Vera M. (nee Allen) age 82 of Morrow, Ohio passed peacefully Friday, June 22, 2012 at Pinecrest Nursing Center in Morrow, Ohio with her family by her side. Born May 8, 1930 in South Lebanon, Ohio, Vera was the daughter of Charles C. and Minnie Alma (Monds) Allen and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and a friend to many. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Olnie (Joe) Brown, brothers Clyde Thomas, Sidney and Jack Allen and sister Virginia York, Vera leaves behind her sons Doug (Joan) Allen of Clarksville, Ohio and John Thomas Hall of Middletown, Ohio; daughter Pat (Robert) Money of South Lebanon, Ohio; brother Kenneth (Mary) Allen of Florida; sisters Vivian Horais of Lebanon, Ohio and Donna Faye (John) Presley of Florida; sisters-in-law Charlotte Allen of Oregonia and Jan Allen of Texas; six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandsons. Friends may call on the family Tuesday, June 26, 2012 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 2:00pm with Brother Paul Gilkison officiating. Interment will follow in the Deefield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
