Obituary of James T. Cox
COX, James T. age 82 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully at Bethesda North Hospital January 29, 2017 with his family by his side. Born April 12, 1934 in Mt. Vernon, Ohio, James was the son of Arthur F. and Gertrude P. (Woolison) Cox and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. James served his country in the U.S. Army and was a retired Systems Designer with Black Clawson. James was a Master Mason in the Lebanon, Ohio Lodge, a member of the Westside Church of Christ in Lebanon, Ohio and an instructor and examiner for the Ham Radio community (call letters N8JLS). James also coached little league and volunteered with the Cub and Boy Scouts of America. Preceded in death by his parents, brother John Cox and sisters Beverly Vaughn and Bette Jane Cox; James leaves behind his loving wife of 62 years JoAnn (nee Hatte) Cox of Lebanon, Ohio; son Jim (Karen) Cox of Lebanon, Ohio; daughters Donna Cox Perry of Springdale, Ohio and Sandy (Arnold) Zirkes of Bowling Green, Ohio, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 11am until 1pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1pm with burial to follow in the Maineville Cemetery, Maineville, Ohio.
