Obituary of Louise Smith

SMITH, Louise (nee Gibson) age 84 passed peacefully Tuesday evening, June 19, 2012 at Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery, Ohio with her family by her side. Born December 8, 1927 in Buckhorn, Kentucky, Louise was the daughter of Holt and Myrtle (Turner) Gibson and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and a dear friend to many. Louise had two careers and retired following 25 years as one of the top sales women at the Avon Corporation and later retired following a 14 year career with the Western Southern Life Insurance Company. Louise was a member of the First Baptist Church of Monroe for 58 years, her faith was very important to her. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Roscoe Smith in 2008 and son Ronnie Smith; Louise leaves behind her sons Tim (Alicia) Smith, Charles (Sandy) Smith and Russ (Renee) Smith all of Lebanon, Ohio and Richard (Caron) Smith of Mason, Ohio; daughter Carol Albin of Cincinnati, Ohio; sisters Sally Estes and Bobbi Jo Stewart both of Franklin, Ohio and Naomi Cole of Michigan; thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Friends may call on the family Saturday, June 23, 2012 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the First Baptist Church of Monroe, 457 South Main Street, Monroe, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at the church at 1:00pm with interment to follow in the Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, Ohio.
