Obituary of Sharon Barker

BARKER, Sharon L. (nee Reynolds) age 65 of Springboro, Ohio passed peacefully Monday, June 11, 2012 at Kettering Medical Center with her family by her side. Born August 9, 1947 in Empire, California, Sharon was the daughter of Eli and Mattie (Spencer) Reynolds and a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Sharon attended the Corwin Pentecostal Church and was a huge supporter of Special Olympics. Sharon enjoyed ceramics and gardening but most of all spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her parents and brother Warren Reynolds; Sharon leaves behind husband Edward R. Barker of Springboro, Ohio; daughters Jenny (Ed) Carmack and Robin Parson all of Franklin, Ohio; brothers Acy, William and Fred Reynolds; sisters Ivaleen Kirgan, Grace Gibson, Marjorie Welch, Frances Lamb, Boots Walker and Peggy Ramsey; grandchildren Thomas Eli Boldman, Erin Parson and Jenny Ramsey and many other family members and friends. Friends may call on the family Thursday, June 14, 2012 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at the Corwin Pentecostal Church in Corwin, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at the church at 2:00pm with Reverend Acy Lamb officiating. Burial will follow in the Miami Cemetery, Corwin, Ohio.
