Obituary of Doris Jean Stephenson

STEPHENSON, Doris Jean (nee Helsinger) age 86 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties with her family by her side. Born November 18, 1930 in Lebanon, Ohio; Doris was the daughter of Arthur and Esther (Munger) Helsinger and was loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Doris was a graduate of Lebanon High School and a member of St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church. Doris enjoyed collecting angels, sewing and crocheting and taught cooking in 4-H. Preceded in death by her parents, first husband Thomas Hardy, second husband Bruce Stephenson, daughter Elaine Coffman, son-in-law Doug Ingram, brothers Arthur Jr. and Robert Helsinger and sister Mary Lou Whitacre; Doris leaves behind her loving children Doug (Linda) Hardy of Morrow, Ohio, Curtis (Sharon) Hardy of Lebanon, Ohio, JoAnn Hardy Ingram of Maineville, Ohio and Susan (David) Reed of Newark, Delaware and many other family members and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church, DeSales Avenue,Lebanon, Ohio with Father Bernard Weldishofer officiant. Burial will follow in Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, Ohio.
