Obituary of Paula Mae Long

LONG, Paula Mae (nee Upton) age 59 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday evening, December 3, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born December 20, 1956 in Middletown, Ohio, Paula was the daughter of Paul and China (nee Isaacs) Upton and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Paula grew up in Lebanon, Ohio and graduated from Lebanon High School in 1974. She was a cheerleader and homecoming queen. Many may remember Paula from her years of employment at the Golden Lamb, the Village Ice Cream Parlor and the Paragon in Centerville. During her spare time, Paula enjoyed reading, sewing, baking and spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her parents, son Increase Schock and sister Toni Upton; Paula leaves behind her loving husband Mark Long of Lebanon, Ohio; daughters Abby Long of Lebanon, Ohio and Lacy Long-Goldberg (Josh) of Cleveland, Ohio; sisters Terry Ontiveros (Othon) of El Paso, Texas, Kim Noble (Regan) of Lebanon, Ohio and Michelle Upton of Lebanon, Ohio; grandchildren Micah Grace and Lucien "Trooper" Schock. At the request of the family, services are private.
