Obituary of Delorus Campbell

CAMPBELL, Delorus "Dee" (nee Murphy) age 88 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Hospice of Cincinnati surrounded by her loving family. Born September 21, 1928 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Delorus was the daughter of Herman and Elisie (nee Brown) Murphy and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Delores worked for several years at our local Walmart Store and enjoyed sewing, painting, sculpting, watching hummingbirds and gardening. At one time, she taught school in a one-room schoolhouse in Kentucky. Delorus was alway young at heart and very "crafty". Preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Charles Wayne Campbell, brother Bearl Murphy and sisters Lorene Noel, Eithel Murphy and Anita Fletcher; Delorus leaves behind her loving children David Campbell and Alice (Arthur) Scott of Lebanon, Ohio; brothers Howard Murphy of Versailles, Kentucky, Shearl Murphy of Liberty, Kentucky and Marion Murphy of Liberty, Kentucky; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, December 6, 2016 from 5pm until 7pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. A second visitation will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 1pm until 2pm at the McKinney Brown Funeral Home in Liberty, Kentucky followed by the funeral service at 2pm. Burial will follow in the Green River Valley Cemetery in Casey, Kentucky.
