Obituary of James O'Neil Carmack

CARMACK, James O'Neil age 82 of Franklin, Ohio passed peacefully Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the Hillspring Nursing Center in Springboro, Ohio. Born January 12, 1934 in Owsley County, Kentucky; James was the son of Elihu and Sally Belle (nee McIntosh Carmack and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. James was a Millwright with Local 1090 and a US Army Veteran. Preceded in death by his parents, wife Myrtle (nee Stamper) Carmack; brothers Ralph, Sr., Fred, Leroy, Howell Gene and Roe Hurst Carmack and sisters Laura Lykins, Lola Carmack, Helen Stephens and Tiny Mae Carmack; James ;eaves behind his loving children Jimmy Ray Carmack of South Lebanon, Jerry Lee (Sharon) Carmack of South Lebanon, Paul (Kim) Trent of Maineville, Ohio, Marie (Paul) Eversole, Cathy (Walter) Pittman, Tammy (Danny) Taulbee and Angel (Allen) Reynolds; twenty four grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday evening, December 5, 2016 from 5pm until; 7pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 7pm with Pastor David Frasure officiating.
