Obituary of Richard Guy Beadle
Richard Guy Beadle, born in Portsmouth, Ohio on September 30, 1930, went to be with the Lord on November 12, 2016 in Lebanon, OH. Dick left a Legacy of loving the Lord Jesus Christ, his family, and the people of the world and as Dick himself had stated, he lived a “Life of Fulfillment”. More details appear below.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ruth Elaine (Shupp) Beadle and
Five Sons/Daughters in Law—

Dwight and Lisa (Cypress, TX)
Loren and Amy (Kiawah Island, SC)
Craig and Phyllis (Galena, OH)
Nathan and Kim (Carmel, IN)
Grandchildren/Spouse (17): Justin/Maggie, Cameron/Larisa, Taylor/Sebastian, Alicia/Andrew, Benjamin, Hannah, Cassidy/Trevor, Meaghan, Delanie, Ryan/Lynzi, Brooke, James, Pasha, Dima, Katie, Eric, Nate
Great Grandchildren (5): Cora, Delilah, Titus, Brody, Braxton, Elliana,
and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father Guy and Grace Beadle of Rubyville, OH; his brother Jack Beadle, and sisters Dorothy Wise and Eleanor Benner.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 15, 2016 from 5:45pm until 6:20pm. Funeral services will begin at 6:30pm all at Stine Kilburn Funeral Home.

Dick graduated from Clay High School, Ohio University and later Marshall University. He served as a Sergeant in the US Army during the Korean conflict. He passionately taught High School Math for nearly 30 years at Portsmouth Clay, Teays Valley, Delaware, and Westerville Ohio as well as Columbus State Community College. Dick then served on the mission field with Wycliffe Bible translators in Peru, Africa, Papua New Guinea and Orlando. This was all before settling at Otterbein Retirement Community in Lebanon, Ohio where he continued to teach and serve in the church. Dick was always willing to help anyone in need and was an avid gardener, handyman, and Christian servant.
