Obituary of Geraldine McCarty

McCARTY, Geraldine (nee Rothhaas) age 81 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Hospice of Cincinnati with her family by her side. Born January 19, 1931 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Geraldine was the daughter of Daniel and Ruth (Conrad) Rothhaas and was a loving devoted mother and grandmother. Geraldine retired from the Kroger Deli and loved spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her parents, Geraldine leaves behind her sons Nicholas (Peggy) McCarty, James McCarty and Jeff "Beep" (Maureen) McCarty all of Lebanon, Ohio; daughters Kimberly (Roy) Cowan of Indiana, Karen (Steve) Creech and Annie (Carl) Myers all of Lebanon, Ohio; grandchildren Jami, Roy, Katie, Madeline, Michael, Branden, Cyrus, Jilliam, Alex, Sadie, Isaac, Carrington, Cody, Troy, Jacob, Travis, Taylor, Jenna and Adam; great grandchidlren Jamison, Josh, Jackson and Jailyn and many other family members and friends. Friends may call on the family Sunday evening, May 20, 2012 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 21, 2012 at the funeral home at 11:00am with Reverend Beverly Turner officiating. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, Ohio. The family appreciates memorial donations that are directed to the Warren County Fair Board at any Lebanon Citizens National Bank.
