Obituary of Nan Thorn johnson

JOHNSON, Nan Thorn (nee Dye) age 72 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Wednesday morning, October 26, 2016 at her residence. Born February 8, 1944 in Ashland, Kentucky, Nan was the daughter of James Knox Dye and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and sister. Nan was a graduate of Ashland High School and Center College in Danville, Kentucky. She received her teaching certificate from Morehead College and taught English in the Lebanon City Schools for approximately 8 years. She left teaching to raise her son Christopher but remained active as a member of the Board of Education for 15 years. Preceded in death by her parents and brother James Dye, Nan leaves behind her loving husband James Johnson of Lebanon, Ohio, son Christopher C. Johnson of Indianapolis, Indiana and sister Sarah Louise Dye of Elgin, Illinois and many other family members and friends. A memorial service will be held November 19, 2016 at 11am at the St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church in Lebanon, Ohio with Father Bernard Weldishofer officiating.
