Obituary of Freda Mae Hurtt

HURTT, Freda Mae (nee Burke) age 86 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday, October 15, 2016 at her residence. Born April 18, 1930 in Lee County, Kentucky; Freda was the daughter of James Mastern and Elizabeth (nee Marcum) Burke and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Freda was retired from the Lebanon City Schools after 25 years of service in the cafeteria. During her spare time, Freda enjoyed quilting, cooking and spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her parents and 4 brothers and 4 sisters, Freda leaves behind her loving husband of 69 years David Hurtt of Lebanon, Ohio; four sons David Jr. (barbara, Ronald (Bobbi), Larry (Debra) and Kevin (Tina); ten grandchildren Lisa Schroeder (Bill), Mindy Robison (Eric), Whitney McCutcheon (Jody), Rebekah Silla (Frank), Renee' McCord (Jeff), Jenny Fimple (Shawn), randi Michna (William), Natalie Hurtt, Christopher Hurtt and Elizabeth Hurtt; seventeen great-grandchildren Alanna and Olivia Schroeder, Dorian, Lily and Avarie Robison, Madelyn, Maceon and Marleigh McCutcheon, Frank and Nikolas Silla; Riley and Brody Mckinney, Ellie McCord, Gage and Katelyn Fimple and Ethan and Violet Michna. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 11am until 1pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1pm with burial to follow in the Lebanon Cemetery.
