Obituary of James L. Baker

BAKER, James L. age 90 of Morrow, Ohio passed peacefully Sunday, October 9, 2016 at the Otterbein Retirement Community surrounded by his loving family. Born December 16, 1925 in Owsley County, Kentucky, James was the son of Will and Pearl (Camel) Baker and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. James retired from the Steel Craft Company in Blue Ash, Ohio with 36 years of service. During his spare time, James enjoyed fishing, deer hunting and the great outdoors. Preceded in death by his parents, loving wife Rosalee (Abner) Baker, brothers Bob, Jack, Nelson, Forrest and Fred and sisters Ina Allen and Eller Mobley; James leaves behind his loving children Larry (Vickie) Baker of Lebanon, Ohio, Arnold Baker of Lebanon, Ohio and Lisa Baker-Kaufman of Morrow, Ohio; brothers Lee of Cincinnati and Gordon of Dry Ridge, Kentucky; sister Della Mae Quatran of Williamstown, Kentucky; grandchildren Brian, April, Renee and Josh and great-grandchildren Tyler, Drew, Ayden, Brittany and Cameron and many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 12, 2016 from 10am until 12pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 12pm with Pastor Bill Webb officiating. Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
