Obituary of Cecil Washington Moore

MOORE, Cecil Washington age 79 of Oregonia, Ohio passed peacefully Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Hillspring Nursing Care in Springboro, Ohio surrounded by his loving family. Born January 26, 1937 in Batavia, Ohio, Cecil was the son of John Henry and Dorothy Alice (nee Fanchier) Moore and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Cecil was the owner/operator of his own construction company and enjoyed tools, old cars, shopping, building anything and spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his parents and brother Gilbert; Cecil leaves behind his loving wife of 40 years Lillian (nee Langdon) Moore of Oregonia, Ohio; son Christopher (Angela) Moore; daughters Lisa (Brian) Hill, Joyce (Kevin) King and Martina (Jay) Ford; brothers George, Eddie and Jimmy; sisters Judy, Nita, Ginny,Pauline and Gerri; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, October 7, 2016 from 10am until 12pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 12pm with burial to follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason, Ohio.
