Obituary of Pauline Raper

RAPER, Pauline (nee Pope) age 84 of Maineville, Ohio passed peacefully Thursday, September 15, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born October 18, 1931 in Wayne County, North Carolina, Pauline was the daughter of Waverly and Diddie (Bass) Pope and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Pauline was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church of Maineville where she taught Bible and Sunday School. During her spare time, Pauline enjoyed crochet and cooking. Preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Timothy Henning, parents, brother Glenn Pope, sisters Alice Evans and Glennie Madrey; Pauline leaves behind her loving husband of 67 years James B. Raper; daughters Debbie (Mark) Powell of Rochester, Ohio and Paula Genine (Cliff) Crouch of Lebanon, Ohio; brother Charles (Shirley) Pope of Goldsboro, North Carolina; sisters Mildred Bass of Raleigh, North Carolina, Eula Gray Lamm of Goldsboro, North Carolina, Shelby Jean Lynch of Goldsboro, North Carolina and Geraldine Lamm of Rocky Mount, North Carolina; nine grandchildren dn five great-grandchildren; special neighbors Jim and Linda Kolb and many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September, 21, 206 from 11am until 12pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be he'd at the funeral home at 12pm with burial to follow in the Maineville Cemetery.
