I will miss Bobby. Even though I had moved from Lebanon in 2005, it was a comfort knowing he was still living and loving life. He was an inspiration to many and I can't ever remember him saying a bad word about anyone. I salute you Bobby Kaufman and I will always toast to you when enjoying my Absolute. L'chiam my friend. I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I worked for Bob and Sam at Kaufman's and later at Pantsville USA . He was a great boss and a good man. I have so many good memories from back then. Bob, to me, was one of the last surviving member of the greatest generation of Lebanon. He and his fellow co-horts made Lebanon what it is today .....brick sidewalks, new lighting, getting merchants to paint or otherwise clean up their storefronts, fill empty stores, encourage bars to locate elsewhere in the city, and getting the Honey Festival in downtown. Enjoyed shopping at Kaufmans Dept. Store. Enjoyed his birthday parties thrown by Jan, and he would play the drums with his small band. I worked for his son, William, when he bacame an attorney, and it was a joy because he was so organized. The family will miss him, and I pray for his soul. God bless.

I am so sorry to hear about Bob passing away . He was a legend as far as I'm concerned . I remember him from Kaufman's Dept . store as a child and had the pleasure to know him in my adult life as well .
