Obituary of Alan Edward Lustig

LUSTIG, Alan Edward age 92 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday, August 6, 2016 at his residence at the Otterbein Retirement Community. Born August 22, 1923 in Ontario, Canada, Alan was the son of Roy and Ethel (Bennett) Lustig and brother to Roy, Jr., Nora and Eileen and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather and great grandfather. Alan was a proud U.S. Marine Corps Veteran and a retired Recreational Therapist. Alan's passion was sports - especially baseball. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and was also in the Huntington, New York Baseball Hall of Fame. Preceded in death by his parents, Alan leaves behind his loving wife of 42 years Eva (nee Palmer) Lustig of Lebanon, Ohio; children Alan Lustig, Jr. (Eileen) of East Northport, New York and Peggy (Rocco) Saccone of East Northport, New York; Kelly Tabor (Ryan) of Dale City, Virginia and Lori Hammond (Mike) of Manassass, Virginia and Jenny Romano (Chris) of Deerfield Township, Ohio; grandchildren Rocky, Joe, Ryan, Madelynn, Sean, Miranda, Madison, Julia, Morgan and Tommy; great-grandchildren Vera, Luke, Faith and Gianna.
